Technology Requirements
To access BVU Library databases, eBooks, tutorials, and other online resources, make sure your device and browser meet the following basic requirements.
Supported Web Browsers
For the best experience, use a current version of a modern web browser, such as:

- Safari
Keep your browser updated to the latest available version for improved security and compatibility.
PDF Documents
Some library resources and articles are provided as PDF files. Most modern browsers can open PDFs directly. You may also use Adobe Acrobat Reader or another PDF reader to view and download PDF documents.
eBooks and Digital Publications
Some eBooks or downloadable materials may require Adobe Digital Editions or another compatible eBook reader. Follow the instructions provided by the individual library resource when additional software is required.
Pop-Up Windows
Some library databases use pop-up windows to open articles, search tools, or other content. If you select a link and nothing happens, check your browser's pop-up settings and allow pop-ups for the library resource.
Cookies
Your browser must allow cookies for many library databases and online resources to function properly. If you experience problems signing in or accessing content, check that cookies are enabled in your browser.

JavaScript should be enabled in your browser. Many library databases and online research tools rely on JavaScript for search, navigation, and other features.
